Is Diploma in Engineering is equivalent to Intermediate?

I have done Diploma in Civil Engineering after my High-school. And according to SC Diploma is now equivalent to Intermediate. So can I apply for the govt job where required minimum eligibility is Intermediate or I have to get any special document from govt? Kindly provide full details and process r

If you are asking regarding a job or any other examinations then NO, Diploma and intermediate is not equivalent. But if your concern is knowledge then Diploma is way ahead of intermediate.
