University of Calcutta Invites Applications for MBA 2015 in Finance Program

Applications are invited by University of Calcutta (CU), Kolkata for admission to 2 years Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in Finance offered at the Department of Commerce for the session 2015-17.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have a Bachelor"s degree in any discipline from any of the recognised universities.

How to Apply for University of Calcutta:

1.The application form and prospectus can be obtained from the university sales counter by paying Rs 1,000/- (Rs 500/- for SC/ST) in cash. 

2.Application form can also be downloaded from the official website of Calcutta University.

3.The filled application form, along with DD of Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST) drawn in favor of Co-ordinator, MBA in Finance, Calcutta University.

Selection Procedure for University of Calcutta:

Selection will be based on an overall score comprised of the following:

1.Past academic achievements: 100 marks

2.CAT or MAT: 50 marks

3.Group Discussion (GD): 20 marks

4.Interview: 20 marks

5.Work experience: 10 marks

Important Dates:

1.Issue and receipt of application forms: Monday, November 10, 2014 to Friday, January 30, 2015.

2.List of eligible candidates: Friday, February 27, 2015.

3.Admit cards (for GD & PI) to be distributed: Tuesday, March 17, 2015.

4.Date of GD/viva: Friday, April 03, 2015.
