IBPS Bank Clerk Paper Set

IBPS is a Government Organization, which is a self governed academic and research oriented institute.  In 1975, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection started the Personnel Selection Services with the aim to enhance human resource development through personal assessment. For selecting Officers and Clerks in Indian Banks, IBPS conducts Common Written Examination (CWE), which is a main exam for the candidates who seek for bank jobs. IBPS provide jobs in 21 Public Sector Regional Rural Banks. CWE is held every year to fill up the vacancies in banks.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria

IBPS has set eligibility criteria for the candidates who will to appear for the Common Written Examination which are as follows:

  • Nationality- A candidate should be
  1. Indian Citizen
  2. Nepal Citizen
  3. Bhutan Citizen
  4. A Tibetan Refugee
  5. If migrated from other countries apart from above, should have an intention to get permanently settle in India.
  • Age Limit- a candidates should have an age from 20-28 years to apply for the IBPS examination. However, for few categories, relaxation of Upper Age is provided which is as follows:

Persons ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1-1-80 to 31-12-89

5 years

Widows/ Divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried

9 years

Persons affected by 1984 riots

5 years

Regular employees of the Union Carbide Factory, Bhopal retrenched from service (Applicable to Madhya Pradesh state only)

5 years

 

  •  Qualification- a candidate with any graduation degree from any well stated and recognized University is eligible to apply for the examination. A candidate should also have a Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in computer operations or language or should have Computer/ IT subject in High School or Institute or in College.

IBPS Clerk Exam Papers & Syllabus

To prepare for the IBPS clerk examination, candidates need to focus mainly on the syllabus which includes topics like reasoning ability, English language, numerical ability or arithmetic ability, general awareness and computer knowledge.
