Eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification: The candidate who have passed in the first or second division they are eligible to apply for this exam or the candidate need to get pass mark in an equivalent examination conducted by the university or Board approved by the Government of India.
Nationality: To take SCRA exam candidate need to have Indian citizenship.
Age Limits: Candidate should be aged between 17 to 21 years. Relaxation is also available based on caste, and it will be provided based on rules and regulations. Age limit is relaxable up to three years for OBC and five years for ST and SC candidates.
Exam Pattern And Duration: In general, this exam will be conducted in 2 parts and the exam duration will be two hours.
Part 1: Part 1 is written examination that contains three papers,
Paper 1: General Ability Test
Paper 2: Physical Sciences that includes Physics and Chemistry
Paper 3: Mathematics
In general, all the papers consist of objective multiple type questions and this also includes negative marking. The question paper provided in English only, totally first part carries 600 marks.
Part 2: The second part covers personality test and this part carries 200 marks it is applicable for the candidate who has qualified in the written examination. Candidates need to complete two phases of registration to take the exam.
Application fee: All the candidates need to pay application fees Rs 100. SC, ST, PH and female candidates no need to pay any application fee.
