Cashier/ Assistant Cashier/ Assistant Court Officer job recruitment in High Court of Judicature at Patna
Online applications are invited from the eligible employees of the Court holding the post of Cashier, Assistant Cashier, Assistant Court Officer, Typists, Ex-cadre Assistants, Pass Distributor, Record Supplier, Treasury Sarkar, Data Operators and PBX Operators, Staff Car Driver, Daftary and other employees holding other Class III posts having lesser scale of pay than that of Assistant or with higher scale of pay if they forgo the claim of higher scale on appointment to the post of Assistant who have completed two years of continuous satisfactory service, for appointment to the post of Assistant in Level-7 of 7th PRC (pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300- 34800/- + Grade Pay 4600) plus usual allowances as admissible under rules through a limited competitive examination in terms of Rule 7 (4) (ii) of Patna High Court Officers and Staff (Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 1997, as amended up-to-date.
Qualification : The minimum qualification for the post is Graduation from a University and having proficiency in Computer Applications. The Praveshika, Sahitya Bhushan and Sahityalankar degree obtained from Hindi Vidyapith, Deoghar shall not be treated as valid qualification to be equivalent to Matric, Intermediate and Graduation respectively.
Organisation Profile :
The Patna High Court started its work in 1916 with the Chief Justice and six puisne Judges. In the year 1947, the sanctioned strength of the Court was nine permanent and three additional Judges. Though a separate province for Orissa was created in the year 1937, this High Court exercised jurisdiction over the territories of that province till 26th July, 1948, when a separate High Court was constituted for Orissa. Even after the constitution of the Orissa High Court, the sanctioned strength of Judges for this Court remained the same. In February, 1950, the three posts of Additional Judges were made permanent.
