Nominated Member for the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF)  job opportunities in Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission

Qualifications :   Bachelor Degree in Law / Public Administration /Journalism/ Economics/ Political Science or equivalent and familiar with consumer affairs. He/She should preferably be a representative of a registered society or NGO/Consumer Organization having one or its main objectives as consumer protection with at least 5 years of standing, or alternatively should have five years of experience in consumer related matters.

Remunerations :  Rs. 45,000/- (Rupees Forty Five Thousand Only) per month.

Age Limit :  Three years or till he/she attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier

Organisation Profile : To consolidate the laws relating to generation, transmission, distribution, trading and use of electricity and generally for taking measures conducive to development of electricity industry, promoting competition therein, protecting interest of consumers and supply of electricity to all areas, rationalization of electricity tariff, ensuring transparent policies regarding subsidies, promotion of efficient and environmentally benign policies, constitution of Central Electricity Authority, Regulatory Commissions and establishment of Appellate Tribunal and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto, The Electricity Act 2003 was enacted by Government of India.
