Director (Finance & Law)

Qualifications  :   i. MBA/PGDM with specialization in Finance preferably with Degree in Electrical Engineering; OR ii. Certified Chartered Accountant or Certified Cost & Management Accountant preferably with Law Degree

Experience :  Minimum Experience of 15 years in matters related to Power Sector (Distribution, Transmission Generation) and in Core finance matters with proper understanding of Tariff Formulation & Cost Analysis in context to Electricity Regulatory field including financial management in terms of Accounting principles applicable to Govt. bodies and application of General Finance Rules (GFR) of the Govt. of India. Candidates having experience/ Exposure to handling of legal matters shall have an added advantage in the overall assessment.

Pay :  Rs. 1,37,000/- per month

Research Associate (Engg.)

Qualification :  Graduate Degree holders in Electrical Engineering with MBA/PGDM (Finance)/ Power Management

Experience :  Post qualification experience of zero to three years in the field of power sector in Distribution and/ Or transmission or power planning and load system flow studies. Should be conversant with the Roles and responsibilities of Electricity Regulatory Concepts in Power Sector, Indian Electricity Act-2003, Tariff Policy etc.

Pay :  Rs. 50,000/- per month

Organisation Profile : To consolidate the laws relating to generation, transmission, distribution, trading and use of electricity and generally for taking measures conducive to development of electricity industry, promoting competition therein, protecting interest of consumers and supply of electricity to all areas, rationalization of electricity tariff, ensuring transparent policies regarding subsidies, promotion of efficient and environmentally benign policies, constitution of Central Electricity Authority, Regulatory Commissions and establishment of Appellate Tribunal and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto, The Electricity Act 2003 was enacted by Government of India.
