JRF  job opportunities in National Research Centre on Equines on contract basis

Name of the Project :  Scheduling Equines from Fatal Zoonotic disease-Glanders and Equine Infectious Anemia EIA in India using Point of Care Diagnostics POCD

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology with at least 60% marks with NET(JRF)/ GATE/ equivalent qualification. OR Graduate Degree in professional course (i.e. Microbiology/ Biotechnology// Immunology/ Biochemistry) with NET(JRF)/ GATE/equivalent qualification. OR Post graduate Degree in Professional Course (i.e. M.V.Sc./ M. Tech / M Pharma) in Microbiology/ Biotechnology//Immunology/ Biochemistry).

Desirable :  Expression & purification of recombinant protein & serological diagnosis

Emoluments :  Rs.25000/- P.M. plus HRA as per rules

Age Limit :  For JRF age limit is up to 35 years for man and 40 years for woman and for Office Assistant age limit is up to 27 years for man and 32 years for woman. Age relaxation will be made for SC/ST/OBC as per rules.

Walk-in Interview of the candidates fulfilling the essential qualifications shall be held on 22-5-2019 at 11.00 AM at National Research Centre on Equines, Sirsa Road, Hisar-125 001.

The importance of equines in India is well known. India possesses 1.17 million equines. Major population of equidae comprising donkeys, mules and ponies that provide livelihood to the rural societies living in arid, semi-arid and hilly regions, specially in the foot hills of Himalayas, through transport and draught where as remaining small population of equines is used in army, police, border security force, racing industry and sports.
