JRF Geomatics job vacancies in National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra Project titled : 'Classification and feature selection of AVIRIS -NG airborne hyperspectral data for crop cover mapping/urban mapping' Essential Qualifications : ME/M.Tech in Geomatics/Remote Sensing/Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Engineering (with knowledge of hyperspectral remote sensing/machine learning algorithms including deep learning/image processing) with at least 65% marks or at least 6.5/10 Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Candidate should have undergraduate degree in Engineering (preferably Civil and Computer science). 

Desirable Qualifications : Candidate with work/project development experience in area of hyperspectral remote sensing especially in classification and feature selection would be preferred. Candidate should have good programming skill (like MATLAB/ Python/ C++). No.of Post:1 Emoluments : Rs. 25000/- per month
