Qualifications & Experience : Educational: Graduate in STEM (B. Sc. in any of the Sciences or BE/BTech or MBBS ) Preference will be given to a Master's degree in any STEM or PhD for the Lab Mangers role.
Work Experience: 5 -7 years for Lab Associate & 10-12 years for Lab Manager
Industry research experience, preferably in taking research to new product development and to new ventures.familiar with innovation and research platform approaches and techniques for new product development, formal training in innovation techniques preferred. worked in an product development role in a company, R&D Lab of a company or a research organisation with successful product launches in the some of the following areas e.g.Healthcare, Education, Medical devices, BioTechnology. New Materials & Devices, BioWaste
Preference will be given to candidates who have been associated with an incubator, accelerator, and are familiar with requirements of Start-Ups.
Others required skills :
Mentoring skills with examples of mentoring.
Excellent in written, spoken communication, skilled in preparing and making presentations.
Excellent organisation ability required for creating, managing seminars and events as well as conducting them.
Experienced in writing proposals for grants and investments.
Excellent network with relevant stakeholders for innovation such as government agencies,
Research organisations.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience nature of commitment (part-time, full time).
