Ph.D. InternshipAbroad, 2019
The Centre for Development Studies is delighted to announce its Ph.D Internship Abroad programme for the academic year 2019-20. This is based on a grant received from Government of Kerala.
Scope of the programme : It is an opportunity for CDS Ph.D scholars (whose registrations have been confirmed by the CDS-JNU Committee of Direction for M A, MPhil and Ph.D) to be exposed to the western ways of doing quality research through an interaction with well-known resource persons in their chosen areas of specialisation. The programme is tenable for a period of three months during the period September 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020 at a United Kingdom or Western European University or Institute of Higher Education that is accredited and has a doctoral programme of its own.
Number of PIA Fellowships : Five only.
Fellowship amount : Each successful intern is to receive a consolidated fellowship amount of Rs.3.5 lakhs only.
