Admission to Ph.D. Programme-2019
Eligibility : (a) LL.M. degree from any recognized University in India or Foreign University recognized as equivalent under Indian Law with minimum 55% or an equivalent marks or grade without any round-off will have to qualify through all India Entrance Exam. (b) Candidate who have qualified UGC-NET/JRF/SLET can directly submit research proposal without appearing in Entrance Exam. (c) Having qualified through entrance test or UGC-NET/JRF/SLET, the candidate has to submit '˜Research Proposal, which he has to defend to the satisfaction of Board of Studies.
Detail of Fee : The Demand Draft (D.D.) of Rs 2500 for SC/ST and Rs 3000 for Other, in Favor of Registrar, HPNLU, Payable at Shimla OR payment through SBI Collect online.
Selection : The Entrance Test shall be a written examination of Two (2) hour duration of one hundred fifty (150) marks comprising following two parts: (a) Part I - Research Methodology (50 MCQs) for 02 mark each. (b) Part II - Emerging Issues in Law (01 Question with additional option) Essay Type for 50 marks.
The Ph.D. Entrance Test 2019 is scheduled to be held on June 9th, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM at HPNLU Campus, Ghandal Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
