Admission in part-time Ph.D Programme under Visvesvaraya Ph.D scheme of the Ministry of Communication and IT at NIT Agartala for July-December 2019, academic session.
 
Eligibility : Candidates for admission in Ph.D programme under Visvesvaraya Ph.D scheme must satisfy the following criteria:- I. Master's Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent (60% of marks)
II. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering with an excellent academic record and with a CGPA of at least 9.0 out of I0 or equivalent (85% of marks) Candidates must have valid GATE score. III. The candidates should be locally and professionally employed in order to be able to attend regular classes in the Institute when necessary.
 
Scholarship : The candidates who will be selected for admission under the scheme in Ph.D programme as pafttirne scholars will not be entitled to any scholarship during the entire duration of Ph.D programme. However, on successful completion of Ph.D degree the scholar will be provided a one-time incentive of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Two lakhs fifty thousand).
 
Fee : The candidates fulfilling eligibiliq, conditions will submit the application forms duly filled-in along with photocopies of required documents enclosing a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (for OP/OB) and Rs 300/- (SC/ST) to be drawn in favour of REGISTRAR, NIT AGARTALA, payable at SBI
