Research Associate/Assistant Job Opportunity At Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur

Project titled: 'Estimation of Fiscal Multipliers for India

Position: One Post

Essential Qualification: As per ICSSR Rules.

Research Associate: Post Graduate in Economics with minimum 55% marks and NET/SLET/M. Phil. /Ph.D.

Research Assistant: Ph.D./M.Phil./ Post graduate in Economics with minimum 55% marks.

Desirable Qualification: Research experience in the areas of Public Finance/Macroeconomics. Knowledge of econometric packages like E-Views, Stata, R-Studio etc.

Monthly Salary: As per ICSSR norms.

Research Associate: Rs. 25,000/- p.m

Research Assistant: Rs. 20,000/- p.m for

Tenure of the Assignment: Six months.

Organisation Profile : Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur is one of the thirty National Institutes of Technology in the country. The Govt. of India conferred on the Institute, the Deemed to be University status (under University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956)) with effect from 26th June 2002. Subsequently, the Central Govt. by Act of Parliament (National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007 (29 of 2007)) declared VNIT Nagpur as an Institute of National Importance along with all other NITs. The Act was brought into force from 15th August 2007.
