Project: "Age Constraints on metamorphic evolution of the Trans Himalayas"

Minimum Qualifications:
a) Ph.D. in Geology with specialization in Metamorphic Petrology preferably on the Trans Himalayan rocks and experience of field work in Ladakh-Karakoram region.
b) At least two research publications in peer reviewed journals.
Notes: Pay/Stipend and other allowances would be fixed as per recommendation of the Selection Committee according to applicable rules. The post is purely temporary and would continue only up to the sanctioned duration of the project.
