Communication Officer, CRP-GLDC job vacancies in International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT)

Eligibility  :  Masters' degree in media, science communications, or similar. At least 5 years of relevant experience in development, communication, and media. Ability to write science-based stories and edit scientific articles, reports and publications.  Prior experience in a research/not-for-profit institution.

Desirable :  Background in Agriculture and Biological Science in highly preferred. Experience of working in a multicultural team will be preferred. Multi-lingual capability, especially in French. Masters' degree in media, science communications, or similar. At least 5 years of relevant experience in development, communication, and media. Ability to write science-based stories and edit scientific articles, reports and publications. Prior experience in a research/not-for-profit institution

It was founded in 1972 by a consortium of organisations convened by the Ford and the Rockefeller Foundations. Its charter was signed by the FAO and the UNDP. Since its inception, host country India has granted a special status to International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropicsas a UN Organisation operating in the Indian territory making it eligible for special immunities and tax privileges.
