Advertisement No. KKNPP/HRM/2016/2 Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant/Assistant  Special Recruitment Drive For Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) – Second Attempt Jobs recruitment in Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant – B (Health Physics Unit) /4  HHQualification: B.Sc with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary (or) With Chemistry as principal and Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary (or) With Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage. Mathematics at H.S.C (10+2) level is essential. Candidates having Mathematics as principal subject at B.Sc are not eligible. Shall have English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examinations.Functional Requirement for the Post:Expected to work in round-the-clock shift for providing Health Physics surveillance activities in the station. He/she will be involved in Health Physics survey, sampling and measurements. He/she will be involved in the training and guidance of station personnel on Health Physics safety. Age: 18 to 25 years as on 30/11/2016

Stipend during Training : Rs.9300 Basic Pay after Training:@@ Rs.35400Assistant Grade.1 (Finance & Accounts) /1 VH

Qualification:  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Commerce or Arts with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For Finance & Accounts, Commerce Graduates will be preferred. 2. 40 words per Minute typing speed in English on Personal Computer. Preference will be given to those candidates who possess knowledge of Hindi typing also. 3. Should have passed a Certificate Course of duration of not less than 6 months on MSWindows Operating System and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point), E-mail Management and Internet Surfing. Candidates having Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology are exempted from Certificate Course.

Functional Requirement for the Post  :Clerical job manually and also on computer 1) A pass in Graduation 2) Should have typing speed of 40 words per minute in English on a Personal Computer. Preference will be given to those candidates who possess knowledge in Hindi Typing also. 3) Should have knowledge in Computer Applications 

Basic Pay: @@ :Rs.25500 Age:21 to 28 years as on 30/11/2016 Mode of Selection:  Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant – B (Health Physics Unit) Written Examination and Personal Interview. Assistant Grade.1(Finance & Accounts) Written Examination, Typing Test on PC, Computer Proficiency Test.

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE),Government of India. The Company was registered as a Public Limited Company under the Companies Act, 1956 in September 1987 with the objectives of operating atomic power plants and implementing atomic power projects for generation of electricity in pursuance of the schemes and programmes of the Government of India under
the Atomic Energy Act, 1962. NPCIL also has equity participation in BHAVINI, another PSU of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) which implements Fast Breeder Reactors programme in the country.
NPCIL is responsible for design, construction, commissioning and operation of nuclear power reactors. NPCIL is a MoU signing, profit making and dividend paying company with the highest level of credit rating (AAA rating by CRISIL and CARE). NPCIL is presently operating 21 nuclear power reactors with an installed capacity of 5780 MW. The reactor fleet comprises two Boiling Water Reactors (BWRs) and 18 Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors (PHWRs) including one 100 MW PHWR at Rajasthan which is owned by DAE, Government of India. Latest addition to the fleet is the unit-1 of Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project, a 1000 MW VVER (Pressurised Water Reactor type), which has started its commercial operation on December 31, 2014. Currently NPCIL has five reactors under various stages of construction/commissioning totaling 3800 MW capacity.
