Trainer in English Language Skills recruitment in IIT Guwahati Nature of Post : One year contractual position. Initial appointment is for six months, which can be extended to another 6 months based on performance. Selected candidates may have to reside in campus accommodation if asked by the authorities. Minimum Qualification: Masters Degree in English Language Teaching or equivalent. Or Masters Degree in English and Postgraduate Diploma in the Teaching of English (ELT/ ESL / TOEL) or equivalent. Or Masters Degree in English, Certificate course in the Teaching of English (ELT/ ESL / TOEL) and at least One Year of Work Experience in ELT/ Communicative English in training Learners of English Language. Or Masters Degree in English and at least Two Years of Work Experience in ELT / Communicative English in training Learners of English Language. Or Masters Degree in English, Bachelors Degree in Education and at least Four Years of Experience of English Teaching at the level of High School or above.
Other Skills : Expertise in conducting language lab sessions with softwares like ReNet/ Orell / Sanaka and other e-learning resources in ELT is preferable.
