Hi Amit, I understand that choosing the right career for your child is no easy task. However before I move on to writing anything substantial, I would just like to remind you that the idea of a career is a very subjective one. Now, assuming your ward is not an exact carbon copy of you, there might be things that she might be better at than you can hope to be. I think it's best if you first observe the things that she's got a knack for. After doing that, you can expose her to the various fields that you can figure are related to that knack. These are the exact fields out of which might emerge, the best career option for your daughter. Having said that I would also recommend exposing her to all the prospects that the various government job exams offer. Exams like the UPSC, IBPS PO, SBI PO, Defence, UGC NET JRFetc. Who knows, if not an artist or a philosopher, she might just turn out to be an excellent IPS officer. In short, you would do best to be extremely receptive to what your daughter enjoys doing. There lies the answer to your question.

Hello, To choose a career is very difficult task in every students' life. Everyone wants a career that fulfill their dreams and requirement. It is parents responsibility to show their children correct path but many make mistakes and force children to go in specific field. Let the children choose what they want to do in life. Find in which field they are interested. let them choose if they are want to make career in their hobbies or want to go for any professional courses. There are many options available. If you find nothing then government job is the option. There are many vacancies in govt. departments like IBPS PO, SBI PO, UPSC, Defense, Civil services. etc. One can start preparation and go for these options any time. All the best for the future of your children.

Do not tense her. If she has interest in drawing let her build that. best is to go to a place which has life art - drawing based on models and also develop interest in culture, psychology, philosophy etc. But first a love for art must come then we can look at a career. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamored by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design

There are many option in design. Once she is ready she must know this. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science.
