Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized with:- (i) Two years work experience in respective trades; OR (ii) One year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute of Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade; OR (iii) Two years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.  Note: - Multi-Skilled candidates will be given preference.

Pay Scale : Rs.21700-69100

Age : 18-23 Yrs as on 1st August 2019

Physical Standard: Male

Scheduled Tribes/Adivasisi of all States and Union Territories including Nagas nad Mizos -

Male : Height-62.5 Cms, Chest-76-81 Cms

Female : Heighr-150 Cms.

Last date of submission of applications is 30 days (i.e 26th February 2019)  from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News. 

Organisation Profile : Till 1965 India ’s borders with Pakistan were manned by the State Armed Police Battallion. Pakistan attacked Sardar Post, Chhar Bet and Beria Bet on 9 April, 1965 in Kutch . This exposed the inadequacy of the State Armed Police to cope with armed aggression due to which the Government of India felt the need for a specialized centrally controlled Border Security Force, which would be armed and trained to man the International Border with Pakistan.
