Common Admission Test (CAT) is a management entrance test conducted on a national level by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). CAT is for those who aspire to join numerous management courses or take admission in MBA Programs. It is a computer based test and the candidates are judged on various counts which includes verbal ability, data interpretation, quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning. The exam consists of one question paper consisting of 100 questions and the time duration to attempt the paper is 3 hours. The question paper is divided into three sections-

All the sections should be attempted and a minimum marks is required in all the sections to clear the exam. From 2015 certain subjective type questions have also been introduced and all the questions may not be multiple choice type. Instead direct answers must be given.

Plan your preparation:

Firstly you must prepare a study plan in which you must distribute the syllabus in a day wise or weekly schedule. Time Management:

Time management plays one of the most crucial role. Therefore the available time must be allocated to each section. Particular topic or subject should be allotted a specific time, and you should be careful in completing it in the given time for better results.
