Qualification: PhD in Economics or Social Science (Granted)

Other qualification: Master's Degree with at least 55% 2. Associate Professor: (1 Un Reserved) Pay Band: 37400- 67000 (Based on 6th pay commission, likely to be revised as per 7th CPC ) Age:45yrs Qualification: PhD in Economics (Granted) Other qualification: Master's Degree with at least 55%

The Centre is managed by a Governing Body consisting of eminent academicians, planners as well as administrators. The present Chairman of the Governing Body is Dr. Bimal Jalan. The current Director is Professor Amit Shovon Ray. The GB has delegated several of its powers to sub-committees to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Centre.
