Qualification : M Tech in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering / Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering/ Water Resources Engineering/ Land and water Engineering/ Irrigation Engineering/ Hydrology/ Geomatics/Remote Sensing/ Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering/ or areas closely related; OR B Tech in above subjects with valid GATE/NET Score.
Relevant Experience : Good knowledge in hydrology, sediment and other land surface processes. Experience using land surface models or hydrological/environmental models to predict soil-vegetation-atmosphere-water interactions, Good programming knowledge (e.g., Fortran or C) and experience with Linux operating system. The candidate should have strong interest to work n land-atmosphere interactions, numerical modeling, remote sensing, and data assimilation etc.
