JRF Mathematics/01 Post
Project: 'Study of Degree of Approximation and Absolute Summability factors of Infinite series'
Essential Qualifications : M. Sc. in Mathematics with a minimum of first division (60% marks or equivalent grade).
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000 per month for candidate as per SERB-DST, Govt. of India rules
Duration: 36 months or position is coterminous with the project*
Note: *The candidate will be allowed to register for Ph.D. program in the Mathematics Department of the Institute under the supervision of Dr. Smita Sonker if the candidate fulfils the eligibility.
JRF Physics/01 Post
Project: 'Utilization of agricultural waste as an electrode material for energy storage devices'
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. (Physics) with good academic record. (Candidate who has qualified NET/ GATE will be preferred.)
Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in similar field.
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month (for first two years) & Rs. 35,000/- per month (for third year)
Duration: 36 months (3 years)*
Note: Initially the appointment will be for six months from the date of joining which will be reviewed thereafter and, if found satisfactory, extended further for during the duration of the project i.e. till 36 months.
