Qualifications :
For Medical: a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS/MD of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience : 14 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS/MD.
Pay Scale : Level-14A in pay matrix as per 7th CPC

Assistant Professors

Qualifications :
For Medical: a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS/MD (Anatomy) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience : 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS/MD.
Pay Scale : Level-12 in pay matrix as per 7th CPC

Selection Procedure : The application of the candidates which will be received with in prescribed date and time and who submit the requisite fee will be scrutinized by the scrutiny committee of the Institute and only the eligible candidates will be called for personal interview before the Standing Selection Committee of the Institute. In case the number of applicant are large, the selection committee of the Institute may devise a criteria for short-listing the candidates which may include holding of written examination.

The application in the prescribed proforma available in the PGIMER, Chandigarh website along with copies of certificates duly attested by the Gazetted Officer in support of educational qualification(s),experience, age/date of birth certificate, No Objection Certificate from the present employer, if employed and one copy of challan form should be sent through registered post or Speed Post or personally only to the Administrative Officer (Recruitment Cell),PGIMER, Sector-12, Chandigarh 160012 so as to reach before 03.07.2019 till 04:00 PM.
Important Dates
The application form/challan form will be available on PGI website from 03.06.2019 to 24.06.2019 (11.59 P.M) after which the link will be disabled.
The last date of deposit of application fee in the Bank is 27.06.2019.
The last date of receipt of offline applications (hard copy) in the O/o Administrative Officer, Recruitment Cell, PGIMER, Sector-12, Chandigarh is 03.07.2019 till 04:00 PM.
