Job Details

1. Position: Project Assistant

2. Project No. & Name: KFRI/EP 365/2021-22, Forestry Extension and Conservation Education Programmes.

3. Duration: Up to 31.03.2022 (extendable based on project requirements)

4. Essential qualification: First Class Degree in Forestry / Economics

5. Desirable qualification: Work experience in Research Institutes/ Universities and Expert knowledge in Computer application.

6. Fellowship: Rs.19,000/- per month

Age Limit:

As on 01/01/2021 - 36 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.

Application Process :

A walk-in-interview will be held at 10.00 am onward on 19 November 2021, at KFRI. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to attend the interview. Please bring testimonials in original.

Organisation Profile : The Institute is dedicated to research in tropical forestry, environment and biodiversity conservation. In 2003, when the State owned R & D institutions were re-organized to constitute the Kerala State Council for Science and Technology (KSCSTE), KFRI also became part of the latter. The Institute is managed by a Management Committee (MC) chaired by the Director.
