Project Associate job Position in Wildlife Institute of India (WII) on contract basis
Project Title : 'Assessment of capacities and training needs of key government staff, community members/institutions and other relevant stakeholders for long-term effective biodiversity conservation, development and implementation of a capacity building framework to enhance capacities of key stakeholders in SECURE Himalaya project landscapes in selected districts of Himachal Pradesh'

Qualification : Ph.D in Wildlife Sciences/ Forestry/ Forest Management/ Rural Development/ Natural Resource Mangement/ Environmental Management from a recognized university Or should have three years' experience in Above subjects with proof.
Desirable : Experience in preparation of conservation plans. Skills in conducting stakeholder consultations and analysis amongst government and other organizations. Skills in community and participatory approaches in Natural Resource Management. Work experience in community based conservation development programs.
Emoluments : Rs. 40,000 (Consolidated) per month
Age Limit : Shall not be more than 40 Years on date of interview. Age relaxation: The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years as per Government of India rules.

The candidate should report by 0930 hrs for scrutiny of documents on 17th June, 2019 followed by an Interview on the same day at 1100 hrs. The Institute will not provide accommodation for candidates appearing for the interview.
