Research Associate-I job opportunities in Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics

Project Title  :  'Inhomogeneities in Correlated System: Superconductors, Insulators and Many-Body Localization'

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Ph.D in Physics (with good academic records and publications in the area of theoretical condensed matter physics).

Desirable :  Experience of working on theoretical condensed matter physics on topics like correlated electron systems and disordered systems will be highly appreciated.

Fellowship :  Rs. 47,000/- per month.

Age Limit :  Maximum 35 years as on 15.06.2019.

Organisation Profile : The Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics is an institute of basic scientific research located in Kolkata (Calcutta). The Institute was founded in 1950 by Professor Meghnad Saha as a part of University of Calcutta. At that time, it was called the 'Institute of Nuclear Physics', with Professor Meghnad Saha the founding director. In the beginning, research was mainly directed towards Nuclear Physics, which was an emerging field at that time and also Biophysical Sciences.
