A walk-in interview to fill the post of Senior Consultant to join a time-bound research programme on "Project No.& Name KFRI/EP 353/17-Regional-cum-Facilitation Centre for Sustainable Development of Medicinal Plants" will be held at 11.00 am onward on 18 November 2021 , at KFRI . Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to attend the interview. Please bring testimonials in original.

3.Duration : One Year

4.Essential qualification : Ph.D. Forestry/Botany. Minimum 20 years of experience in research/teaching

5.Desirable qualification : (a) Experience in medicinal plants/angiosperms

(b) Experience in project development and management

Fellowship : Rs.40,000/- per month

Age Limit: 65 years.

Organisation Profile : The Institute is dedicated to research in tropical forestry, environment and biodiversity conservation. In 2003, when the State owned R & D institutions were re-organized to constitute the Kerala State Council for Science and Technology (KSCSTE), KFRI also became part of the latter. The Institute is managed by a Management Committee (MC) chaired by the Director.
