SRF/Young Professional-I Agriculture job Position in National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management

SRF/1 Post
Qualification: Post graduate in Agriculture/ PG in Engineering with specialisation in image analysis OR Two years Master's degree in Agriculture [M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Physiology / Biochemistry / Genetics and Plant Breeding with four or five year's Bachelor's degree. OR Three years Master's degree in Agriculture (M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Physiology / Biochemistry / Genetics and Plant Breeding with three years Bachelor's degree with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. OR Two years Master's degree in Basic Sciences (Biochemistry / Botany/Genetics / Life Sciences) with 3 years Bachelor's degree with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. Candidate must have NET qualifications (CSIRNET / DBT - BET/ GATE / ICAR- Ph.D Tests / ICMR-JRF / DOP-GPAT). *Those who do not have experience in image analysis should not apply  
Desirable Qualification : Experience in image processing and knowledge of SCADA system, controlled environment system. Pay Scale : Rs. 25,000/per month + 10% HRA for 1st & 2nd year while Rs. 28,000/per month + 10% HRA for 3rd year Young Professional-I/1 Post Qualification: Graduate in Agricultural Sciences 
Pay Scale : Rs.15,000/per month The maximum age for SRFs will be 35 years for men and 40 years for women (relaxation in age as per GOI/ ICAR norms). The age will be computed from the date of Test/Interview.

The place of work is ICAR-NIASM, Malegaon, Baramati, Pune.


The application form complete in all respects along with recent photograph and a set of self-attested copies, proof of date of birth, requisite mark-sheets, educational certificates and other supporting documents need to be brought (along with originals) while attending the Test /Interview.

Walk-in-Test/Interview will be held at ICAR-NIASM, Baramati on 28.05.2019 at 10.30 A.M.

Organisation Profile : The set goal, thus of the NIASM, is to develop an invincible theory to model using frontier sciences and techniques for building flexible farming systems encompassing agriculture, livestock and fisheries sustaining most of the resources matching several aspirations, to practice and refine the system on a participatory mode, and finally to accomplish profitability from adopted livelihoods on the system by the farming communities on an abiotically stressed landscape under changing climate scenario.
